Your opinion counts: EU seeks feedback on new strategy for start-ups

The European Commission is calling on all businesses, investors and innovators to have their say on the EU's future strategy for start-ups and scale-ups. You can now submit your ideas and suggestions and help set the course for a more innovation-friendly Europe.

More growth, fewer barriers

The new strategy aims to give start-ups and scale-ups the best possible support. This includes‘:

  • Better financing conditions: Easier access to capital for entrepreneurs.
  • Cutting red tape: Simplifying regulatory hurdles and harmonising the single market.
  • Fostering talent and innovation: Better conditions for skilled workers, research and development.
  • Access to infrastructure and markets: Facilitating expansion across the EU.

New EU law: More consistency, less complexity

The strategy is part of the Compass for Competitiveness and will include concrete measures such as the European Innovation Act and a single 28th legislative package. This will simplify existing rules on company, insolvency, labour and tax law and create a harmonised set of rules for innovative companies.

Have your say now: submit your feedback by 17 March!

Take this opportunity to actively shape the future of European start-ups. You can submit your comments in any of the EU's official languages via the EU's Have Your Say portal.
