Freising. On February 26, the Fraunhofer IVV invites, as a partner in the EU project MultiCycle, to the stakeholder event "Circular Future Of Plastics". The aim of the event is to inform stakeholders from the field of plastics recycling about multi-material plastics recycling, advanced technologies and future-oriented material possibilities. The Bavarian Research Alliance (BayFOR) will give a presentation on EU funding opportunities in the field of circularity and recycling.

The first part of the event gives an insight into the latest technological advances in the field of polymer recycling with special focus on the MultiCycle process, which is based on the patented CreaSolv® technology (CreaSolv® trademark registered by CreaCycle GmbH). The MultiCycle process can recover new resources from mixed waste of different materials. The second part of the event deals with a new approach to develop a strategic and holistic overview of the entire value chain of polymer recycling.
