Faces of UAS4EUROPE Interview with Prof Dr Walter Schober - President of Technische Hochschule Ingolstadt and Chairman of Hochschule Bayern e.V.

UAS4EUROPE, the unique European network of universities of applied sciences (UAS), conducted a Christmas interview with Prof Dr Walter Schober as part of the "Faces of UAS4EUROPE" series of talks.

Prof Dr Walter Schober is President of Technische Hochschule Ingolstadt, which is one of the most research-intensive UASs with 7,500 students and an annual research budget of around 30 million euros. Prof Schober is also Chairman of Hochschule Bayern e.V. and a member of the board of UAS4EUROPE.

The interview focusses on the following topics:

• The development of Ingolstadt University of Applied Sciences, to which Professor Schober made a significant contribution as a founding professor
• The importance of internationalisation in the higher education sector
• New doctoral centres at the HAWs in Bavaria
