GH2 Connect: Bavaria-Kenya & Beyond – Insights into Global Actions for Ramping Up Green Hydrogen Ecosystems
The Scientific Cooperation Office Bavaria-Africa (WKS Bavaria-Africa) of the Bavarian Research Alliance (BayFOR) invites you to attend the side event “GH2 Connect: Bavaria-Kenya & Beyond – Insights into Global Actions for Ramping Up Green Hydrogen Ecosystems” on 24 June 2026 as part of the HYDROGEN DIALOGUE exhibition in Munich. The event will bring together stakeholders from academia, industry, and policy from Europe and Africa and foster exchange on international hydrogen partnerships and the development of sustainable green hydrogen ecosystems. As part of the event, a delegation from Kenya will present the Kenyan hydrogen economy and its potential. Furthermore, WKS Bavaria-Africa will present the Bavarian-Kenyan cooperation platform for a green hydrogen ecosystem, “GH2 Connect Bavaria-Kenya”, as well as relevant funding opportunities.

BayOConnect 2026 – Forum for Biotech & LifeScience
From 30 June to 1 July, the networking event ‘BayOConnect 2025 - Forum for Biotech & LifeScience’ will take place in Munich. The event is organised by BioM, the development and management organisation of the Munich Biotechnology Cluster and aims to drive progress in biotechnology. The Bavarian Research and Innovation Agency (BayFIA) will be present to provide information on its extensive range of services, as well as offering advice on research and innovation funding, technology transfer, patents, and licences. BayFOR is a BayFIA partner alongside the Bavarian Transformation and Research Foundation, the Bavarian Patent Alliance, and Bayern Innovativ GmbH.

On 15 and 16 July 2024, Bayern Innovativ and Security Network Munich invite you to the TechDays 2026 in Munich - the international meeting place for digital innovations in Germany. Get to know leading start-ups, technology companies and innovation players and find out about the latest developments and trends. At the joint stand of the Bavarian Research and Innovation Agency (BayFIA), you will also get an overview of EU funding opportunities and other support programmes for research and development.

Regional innovation support: Webinar series on the international Cascade Calls of the EU project SYSTEMEU
As a partner in the European project SYSTEMEU, BayFOR is driving forward networking between Bavarian innovation drivers and international partners in four other European regions: Norte (PT), Castilla y León (ES), Tuzla Canton (BA) and North-West (RO). Together with the SYSTEMEU partners, it is organising information sessions from March to July 2026 on the Cascade Call “Financial Support to Third Parties” (FSTP) – a call for interregional collaborative projects in the field of digitalisation within the health, mobility and energy sectors. The call is scheduled to be published in early September.

BayFIA at the 2026 Technology Transfer Congress in Augsburg
On 21 July 2026, the 2026 Technology Transfer Congress will take place at the DZ.S Founders Factory in Augsburg under the motto “Experience Innovation”. The Technology Transfer Congress is organised by the Augsburg Network of Technology Transfer Organisations (TEA) in collaboration with the Innovation Hub A³ and Regio Augsburg Wirtschaft GmbH. The event has established itself as a key platform for exchange between academia, research and industry in Bavaria and offers insights into the latest developments in research, technology and innovation. The Bavarian Research and Innovation Agency (BayFIA) will be taking part in the event and presenting the BayFIA partner organisations and their services. BayFOR will also be present to advise visitors on European funding for research and innovation.
