The starting point of this project is the assumption that the success, or lack thereof, of mutual ventures in international business is determined not only by economic factors, but also by the intercultural competence of the participants from the firms involved. Medium-sized firms are for numerous reasons often unable to succeed. Small and medium-sized tourism enterprises have been shifted to the centre of the project. They act as a go-between for travel services offered and used by participants from varying cultural backgrounds. The project aims to deepen existing bilateral business contacts between Bavarian and Moroccan travel firms. In addition, companies interested in cooperation will be shown starting points for involvement in the Moroccan tourism market
