EMPIRICAL INSIGHTS INTO THE CURRENT STATE, REMEMBRANCE PRACTICE AND COUNTER-STRATEGIES FOR RIGHT-WING EXTREMISM IN BAVARIA
The association
The research association "ForGeRex" investigates right-wing extremism in Bavaria. It seeks to uncover specific manifestations of the phenomenon, its effects on everyday social life as well as strategies against right-wing extremism. Specifically, the focus is on current developments, actors, structures and discourses, but historical perspectives are also taken into account. The aim of the research association is not only to document these findings, but also to transfer them into academic discourse. This will enable a better understanding of the current manifestations of right-wing extremism in Bavaria and an analysis of changes over time.
