Aim of the project: The aim of the project MISTRAL is the implementation and performance analysis of the UB-Tree access structure. Hitachi-UB is a subproject of MISTRAL. This project is carried out by the Bavarian Research Center for Knowledge Based Systems in cooperation with Hitachi. The project consists of the following project phases:

  • Preparation of the performance measurements of the UB-Tree access method
  • Carrying out the performance measurements and comparing results
  • Development of a methodology for the use of UB-Indexes in database schemata.
