TP 7 Vibration Measurement with Microsystems in Machine Spindles for the Controlof the Bearing Pretension
Field of work:
MikrosystemtechnikDuring turning or milling processing oscillations are often the cause ofrefuse, increased tool wear or, on a long-term basis, for a prematurefailure of machine components as for example the machine spindle. Thesevibrations can be caused by an overlay of the process-induced oscillationwith a machine-specific natural frequency. The target of a research projectis to stop harmful oscillations when they occur by shifting the naturalfrequency of the spindle-bearing system over a hydraulic bearing pretension. For the acquisition of the vibrations a measuring module in microsystemstechnology was performed combining the characteristics of small size and lowcosts.
