4.3 - Piloting and evaluation of the process navigator

The construction of prototypes must not be an end in itself. For this reason the project “Piloting and evaluation of the Process-Navigator” keeps busy with the systematic piloting of the Process-Navigator in the domain. An ad- equate test bed (special test environment) is being created in collaboration with the other projects. Within this project the accordant piloting gets planned and carried out. Next, on the basis of requirements (see Project 4.1), an evaluation design is being developed and applied. The experiences of the evaluation will be provided to the other projects, in order to be able to arrange the necessary adjustments at this background. This project is based on two pillars. For the one in the research network developed prototypes and its piloting and the other is the ex post evaluation of piloting-experiences of the practice partner in other, similar situations. Through this approach the field and with it the empirical background can be increased and it gets possible to refer to real piloting-experiences of the industrial partners.
