I2 - Characterization of Immunological Biomarkers During Antiviral Therapy by Use of Cellular Targets

The long term aim of this project is the identification and characterization of antiviral-active kinase-inhibitors to block HSV-1 replication, and the subsequent developed as new antiviral active therapeutics. For the safe therapeutic profiling of these innovative substances we will identify and use cellular and immunological biomarkers.
