ForNeRo

The work group represents a superordinate organizational structure within which robot-assisted surgery-related, overarching cross-sectional topics are dealt with. Findings developed in this working group can be directly transferred to the most diverse areas of robot-assisted surgery, represented by the three clusters, which can be tested respectively within the framework of the project. The work group EUI is mainly concerned with three main aspects within the project: Analyses of workflows and processes in robot-assisted surgery, developments for the early detection of disturbances in the surgical procedure due to physical and cognitive stress and strain, design of human-machine interfaces for the ergonomic and intuitive positioning and operation of robotic systems in the operating room.
