Interest on Scanpy- an invitation to San Francisco for the group of Fabian Theis
The advent of single-cell RNA sequencing technologies was key to open a new chapter of single cell biology. However, dealing with the transcriptome of thousands of cells boosted the demand of new software tools. One of these data analysis toolboxes is scanpy, a fast and scalable Python-based software developed in the group of Fabian Theis. Recently, the CZ Biohub, a non-profit organisation funded by the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative (CZI), invited David Fischer and Maren Büttner to lead a 2 day workshop on single cell data analysis in scanpy in San Francisco, California.
