FORSIM
BAVARIAN RESEARCH ASSOCIATION SIMULATION TECHNOLOGY
The association
The Bavarian Research Cooperation FORSIM works on simulation applications in production, especially on simulating manufacturing processes and cells as well as on the integration of simulation applications on different planning levels in a factory.
Typical simulation techniques used are finite elements simulation, multi body simulation or discrete event simulation. The special demand of the Research Association lies on the one hand on solving specific problems in simulation technology, like examination and optimization of special forming processes, and on the other hand on the integration of simulation results for the efficient use of all simulation activities in production.
The partners from industries provide valuable practical experiences and support the development and installation of application systems.
