Research Association MULTI-CORE SAFE AND SOFTWARE-INTENSIVE SYSTEMS IMPROVEMENT COMMUNITY
FORMUS³IC (Multi-Core Safe and Software-intensive Systems Improvement Community) is a research association funded by the Bavarian Research Foundation. The association consists of six academic and eight industrial partners. FORMUS³IC's focus lies on a holistic approach to challenges in automotive and avionic sector, caused by heterogeneous multi and many core architectures. FORMUS³IC aims to develop and provide an integral concept of solutions mirroring different layers of hardware-software co-designs. FORMUS³IC should also provide solutions for current problems besides contributions for efficient exploitation of heterogeneous multi and many core systems.
